HENDERSON FORD ATTENDS SCHOOL NO. 50 OPEN HOUSE POST BOOK DRIVE
Henderson Ford, through the help of the community and business partners, has collected the
largest amount of books to date over their nine year Book Drive history. A total of 4,400 books were counted by the school from the 2019 Drive!
Henderson Ford President Randy Henderson stated,“We had the opportunity to interact with families and students at the Open House. It was a joy to see the students and families look through the books and
get excited about finding stories that peaked their interests! Every year we exceed the past collection amount and I am proud to be a part of an event that has donated over ten thousand books over the
years for students and families to enjoy. A special thanks to Neubert Financial Services, Inc., Steinmiller Insurance, The UPS Store in Webster’s Baytowne, Webster Chamber Health Insurance Service,
Edge Advertising Group, A Different Point of View, OMEROS, Hope Ministry, and the Penfield Library as partners or collection sites. Our community moved a lot of shelved books into active hands this year!”
